A signature piece from Vaune Mason, the Tuna ring is hand crafted in solid sterling silver. The Tuna is the long-finned eel, and is a threatened species. It's habitat is under pressure from environmental impacts from industry and farming. Human activity and population so often encroaches on these delicate natural habitats. With more information and awareness, efforts are being made to take care for the ongoing survival of this and other unique species.
The Tuna ring may be ordered in a range of sizes but it is a small to medium sized ring. It is also available in gold by custom order.
Vaune Mason is based on the gorgeous Kāpiti coast. Her detailed carved animals are reproduced in glowing bronze and silver, and every now and then, in recycled native timbers, stone or bone. Vaune also loves to make beautiful be-jewelled pieces that look worthy of a treasure hunters' hoard.
